Како дигиталната технологија може да придонесе за поголема самостојност, еднакви можности и пристапно образование за лицата со попреченост? Ова беше во фокусот на работилницата посветена на дигиталната инклузија и примената на асистивната технологија.
Претставници на институции, членови на ИППГ за правата на лицата со попреченост, организации на лица со попреченост и граѓански организации дискутираа за улогата на асистивната технологија во образованието, пристапот до информации и секојдневното функционирање, како и за потребните политики и мерки кои ќе овозможат еднакво учество и остварување на правото на независен живот за лицата со попреченост.
Digital Inclusion for Independent Living
How can digital technology contribute to greater independence, equal opportunities, and accessible education for persons with disabilities? This was the focus of the workshop dedicated to digital inclusion and the use of assistive technology.
Representatives of institutions, members of the Inter-Party Parliamentary Group on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, organizations of persons with disabilities, and civil society organizations discussed the role of assistive technology in education, access to information, and everyday functioning, as well as the policies and measures needed to ensure equal participation and the realization of the right to independent living for persons with disabilities.
