Strengthening the Lebanese Institutions and support to the Most Vulnerable Groups at Local Level - AID 9371 (MOSAIC Program)
- Select the children and form the Children Municipal Council of Tyr, according to the criteria specified in the MOSAIC Program and in particular with respect to social and gender balance and inclusion of children from most vulnerable groups of the society.
- Implement the activities specified in the Operational Plan for the Children’s Municipal Council and in particular organize and supervise the CMC meetings, supervise to the logistics arrangements to be provided by the municipality, supervised the work of the external consultant hired to implement specific activities, overview the general group dynamic and children’s engagement and motivation.
- Plan and implement recreational and educational activities with the CMC as per request of the children and upon approval of the MOSAIC CFC Coordinator
Social Safety Network:
- Select territorial actors involved in local governance and child protection and form a social safety network engaged and willing to collaborate in the implementation of the Child Friendly City Strategy within the municipality of Tyr, according to number and criteria specified by the MOSAIC program
- Organize and implement workshops and seminars for the Social Safety Network according to the Operational Plan; to supervise the work of external consultants selected for the implementation of specific activities concerning the Municipality and the local actors, supervise to the seminars organization and implementation and the logistics arrangements
