We are recruiting for laboratory manager.
Job Title : Laboratory Manager
Location : North Okkalarpa, Yangon
Job Type : Full Time
Reports to : Pathologist, Microbiologist, and Top Management Team
Benefits : Basic salary 1,600,000 MMK +++
Working Days: Monday to Saturday. (8:30 am to 5:00 am)

Key Responsibilities:
1. Quality Control & Workflow Management:
· Develop, update, and implement quality control policies and procedures.
· Monitor laboratory performance and resolve quality discrepancies.
· Design efficient workflows, allocate resources, and ensure timely testing and reporting.
2. Test Development & Molecular Diagnostics:
· Lead development and validation of new testing methods.
· Implement and oversee molecular diagnostic procedures, including PCR and RT-PCR.
· Stay updated with advancements in laboratory technologies.
3. Inventory & Equipment Management:
· Oversee inventory management, ordering, and usage of laboratory supplies.
· Implement procedures to minimize waste and optimize resources.
· Ensure maintenance, calibration, and documentation of laboratory equipment.
4. Team Leadership & Compliance:
· Supervise and mentor laboratory staff, fostering a collaborative environment.
· Ensure compliance with Ministry of Health regulations and ISO accreditation standards.
· Maintain thorough documentation of quality control activities and regulatory requirements.
5. Reporting & Data Analysis:
· Generate reports on laboratory performance and quality control metrics.
· Utilize statistical analysis to identify trends and inform decision-making.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor of Medical Technology (Medical Laboratory Technology); Master’s degree preferred.
· Minimum of 10 years of laboratory experience, including 3 years in management.
· Expertise in test development, validation, and molecular diagnostics.
· Experience in equipment maintenance and inventory management.
