🖌 Lime-Lite Enhanced is a moisture tolerant, light
cure, radiopaque cavity liner and base with
self-adhesive properties.
🖌 It is a mineral-enriched urethane dimethacrylate resin that releases calcium, phosphate, and fluoride ions and is formulated for use with adhesives, composites,
and conventional restorative materials.
🖌 It is similar in chemistry to dental composites and chemically bonds to composites and adhesive primers.
🖌 When increased bond strength to dentin is desired, use of a bonding agent is recommended.
🖌 Lime-Lite Enhanced contains a patented rubberized-resin component that absorbs shock and stress and resists fracture and chipping.
🖌 The material sets hard upon light curing, has a dentin shade, and is virtually insoluble in water and oral fluids. .
🖌 Lime-Lite Enhanced contains no BHT, no Bisphenol A, no Bis-GMA, and no BPA derivatives.

DESCRIPTION:

ACTIVA BioACTIVE-BASE/LINER delivers all the advantages of glass ionomers in a strong, resilient resin matrix that will not chip or crumble. It chemically bonds to teeth, seals against microleakage and releases calcium, phosphate and fluoride. It is more bioactive than glass ionomers, and is more durable and fracture resistant than composites, glass ionomers and RMGIs.

ACTIVA is the first bioactive base/liner with an ionic resin matrix, a shock-absorbing resin component and bioactive fillers that mimic the physical and chemical properties of natural teeth. It releases and recharges with calcium, phosphate and fluoride ions,1,7,11 delivering long-term benefits and better oral health care for your patients.

ACTIVA contains no Bisphenol A, No Bis-GMA and no BPA derivatives.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Set curing light to 20-second low intensity setting.
2. Isolate and prepare tooth to receive a restoration. Etching and bonding agents are not required.
3. Place appropriate pulp protection, if indicated.
4.Lightly dry removing excess moisture with high volume evacuation, compressed air or cotton pellet. Do not desiccate tooth.
5. Place a mix tip on the ACTIVA syringe. To ensure an even mix of base and catalyst, dispense 1-2 mm of material onto a mixing pad
and discard this material.
6. Open Sandwich Technique: Apply ACTIVA BioACTIVE-BASE/LINER to prepared surfaces and extend to the enamel-cavo surface
margin. Massage into the dentin for 20 seconds and light cure using 20-second low intensity light setting. Initial self-cure setting
time is 5 minutes. Continue with step 8.
7. Closed Sandwich Technique: Apply ACTIVA BioACTIVE-BASE/LINER to prepared surfaces. Do not extend the material over the
enamel margins. Massage into the dentin for 20 seconds and light cure using 20-second low intensity light setting. Initial self-cure
setting time is 5 minutes.
8. Complete the restoration with ACTIVA BioACTIVE-RESTORATIVE, or restore with your preferred adhesive and composite bonding
system. Finish and polish as usual.
