 đżAccording to the WHO, one person dies by su***de approximately every 40 seconds.    
đEvery September, Su***de Prevention Month reminds us of the importance of raising awareness, reducing stigma, and supporting those in crisis. Su***de is a leading cause of death worldwide, but remains the most preventable. This is why every conversation about mental health matters. When people feel seen, supported, and understood, their chances of recovery and hope increase.
đŞśSu***de may seem to come out of nowhere but there are multiple warning signs that can lead to it. The signs include: 
 Withdrawal from loved onesđś
 Changes in sleep or eating habits đ´
 Expressions of hopelessness âšď¸
 Giving away personal belongings đ
 Making statements such as "I'm going to kill myself," "I wish I were dead" or "I wish I hadn't been born"
đHowever warning signs aren't always obvious, and they may vary from person to person. Some people make their intentions clear, while others keep suicidal thoughts and feelings secret but if you ever notice these changes in someone, take them seriously and offer support.
