Title: Operation Manager – importation and supply coordination
The purpose of this position is to oversee the process of bringing goods into a country from another country. This includes managing the paperwork, scheduling shipments, and ensuring that all laws and regulations are followed.
The Import Manager is responsible for ensuring that the imported goods meet all applicable standards and regulations, as well as ensuring that payment terms are adhered to and that the goods arrive safely and on time. Additionally, they must work with customs officials to ensure that the goods pass through customs and are cleared for delivery.
Job Description✅
(1)oversees the entire import process, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and company policies.
(2)coordinate with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to facilitate the timely and cost-effective transportation of goods.
(3)manage documentation, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs declarations, to ensure accuracy and completeness.
(4)monitor inventory levels, track shipments, and resolve any logistical issues that arise.
(5)analyze import data to optimize operations, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong
relationships with key stakeholders.
(6)Develop and maintain relationships with distributors and manufacturers.
(7)Prepare and submit required reports to internal and external stakeholders.
General requirements ✅
-Bachelor’s degree in business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
-3-5 years of experience in import and export operations
-Familiarity with international trade regulations and customs clearance processes
-Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
-Proficiency with MS Office and other computer software related to the field
