What's Dr Htein Foundation?
Dr. Htein Foundation, founded by Dr. Htein Win in July, 2013, so far open 5 free clinics and 1free education centre. . Our clinics are free of charge clinics which offer general ambulatory care that give basic health care for the poor and economically disadvantaged individuals.
Our Services
Dr. Htein’s Clinics provide health care services to approximately 1200 patients per month, screening and vaccination of Hepatitis B to monks and orphanage. We provide long-term care for patients with non-communicable diseases like diabetes mellitus and hypertension and ischaemic heart disease. We do blood tests for diabetes mellitus both for diagnosis and monitoring treatment.
Clinics are currently funded by private and individual donors. Clinics are run by volunteers and paid medical professionals. We categorize donations into four types:

Free Donation
Clinics’operational expenses are approximately 5,000,000 kyats to 9,000,000 kyats.
75% of funding is used for for medical expenses and 25% is spent on wages and administrative costs.
