Every tissue in the human body is woven with a complex network of microscopic fibers, and nearly all diseases involve some form of degeneration or disruption of these vital fiber networks.
Researchers at Stanford Medicine have introduced a novel technique, Computational Scattered Light Imaging (ComSLI), that enables visualization of microscopic tissue fibers with a straightforward, inexpensive setup.
