CCM seeks to normalize life challenges and break the belief that having a problem is a taboo. We are among the few who consider failure to be the perfect stepping stone for success. Seeking help can be a hugely transformational process. We offer professional assistance in:

1. Counselling: we provide a free short session about when and why a ‘talking cure’ is essential, how it works and what it can do for you. Following this, you are free to decide whether you want to begin therapy or not.

2. Mindfulness: we teach you Mindfulness through actual practice. We offer four free sessions. You will experience what it is, and will discover how it can be beneficial for you. You will learn how to be mindful in all your activities, e.g. eating, brushing, bathing, walking, etc. For your information: Stress is one of the top reasons people seek a counsellor or therapist. We all have so much on our plates these days, and it's easy to get overwhelmed. Stress can come in many forms: school problems, work problems, legal problems, relationship issues, and so much more. Sometimes it helps to identify and acknowledge that there are stressors in your life and that it is normal to feel bogged down. It's important to take care of your mental health, just as you would of your physical health. A Little about my Personal Story

My name is Sradha. I am a professional Counsellor and the Vice-President of CCM. How did I get here? My professional engagement derives hugely from my personal life story. Until recently, I believed that I had grossly failed in my life. But today I know exactly why I met with what I did, no matter how painful. If we don’t have problems we don’t grow; when we do have them, and we don’t look for solutions, we feel stuck and miserable; we stagnate and feel worthless. I, frantically looked for solutions. I knocked and multiple doors opened! Tribulations of my life include:
- Dropped out of college, being from a ‘star school’
- Dropped out of University of Delhi to get married
- Became a housewife (my classmates became top professionals)
- Got divorced after 19 years of marriage
- Ended up as a single parent to a 7 year old daughter and 2 teenage children

Just a Few of the Blessings Hidden in the Problems: (I can go on and on ...)
- Did my A-Levels towards the end of my marriage (with the encouragement of my then husband)
- Got admission at the University of Mauritius
- Completed my B.A. (Honours) degree Second class, First Division (at age 40)
- Got a teaching position
- Understood the ropes of legal procedures to file and obtain a divorce
- HAD to figure out what to do with my emotions all through
- Second marriage took me to France and U.S.A
- Completed my M.A. degree in Counselling, specializing in Couples & Families (at 57)
- Followed a whole lot of invaluable courses in personal development in search for solutions

Thanks to all these life problems, I have become a ‘wounded healer’ - not the Guru type but a professional Counsellor. I am fully able to deliver a caring and compassionate service. I can fully empathize with people of all walks of life. And last but not least, my life experiences have forged me into an active presenter on radio and TV shows (in Bhojpuri, Creole, English and French). Now ... can you see why creating CCM has become my number ONE passion? Lessons learnt from suffering and pain:
- Everyone is who he or she is due to many circumstances. I can’t change anyone BUT MYSELF.
- I have learnt the power of discrimination. I can make the choice of what to consider and keep or what to reject, be it people or things. What has optimally helped me and what I teach others is:
I put my energy, zeal and passion in what I can control, NOT what I can’t.
