Professional Services Centre is proud to announce the introduction of our Rheumatology service, led by Dr Christian Vassallo, Specialist in Rheumatology.

Dr Vassallo brings expertise in arthritis, autoimmune diseases, back pain, and tendon disorders — with a focus on accurate diagnosis and personalised care.

Dr Christian Vassallo is a physician with dual specialist accreditation in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine, offering experience in the diagnosis and management of arthritis, autoimmune diseases, osteoporosis, and other musculoskeletal disorders. A graduate of the University of Malta (2013), Dr Vassallo completed specialist training in both Malta and Portsmouth Hospital University NHS Trust, United Kingdom. He is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (UK) and holds a Master’s degree from the University of South Wales. He is currently working at Mater Dei Hospital and his professional interests include autoimmune and connective tissue diseases, osteoporosis and inflammatory arthritis.
