Christmastime can be difficult for many individuals, particularly those who are socially isolated. If you are feeling alone this Christmas, try to spend time with others such as family or friends, local council/parish activities or voluntary organisations. If you know of people who will be spending Christmas alone, take the plunge and try to offer them some of your time or a helping hand.

Today is the UK’s first National Su***de Memorial Day for Health and Care Workers. In the US it is National Physician Su***de Awareness Day.

In Malta it is another day of the mental health of overworked medical professionals being neglected and invalidated.

We need to address the systemic failures contributing to worsening mental health amongst our medical staff, before we lose even more valuable lives.

Today we honour the lives of those healthcare workers who died by su***de. Let us remember those who we have lost by lighting a candle, planting a tree or wearing a badge.

Most importantly, let us spread hope 🤍.

Ejja niċċaraw l-affarijiet. Dr Nicole Borg kitbet artiklu dwar l-OCD, li jaffettwa 1 minn kull 100 persuna. Hija enfasizzat li l- OCD li m'hijiex dwar preferenzi iżda hija kundizzjoni serja tas-saħħa mentali.

'O' għal Ossessjonijiet 'C' għal Kompulsjonijiet, u 'D' għal tfixkil u impatt sinifikanti fuq il-ħajja ta' kuljum.

Ftakru li minn ibati bl-OCD qiegħed jiġġieled glieda kuljum. Ħafna jbatu fis-skiet minħabba l-mistħija u l-istigma. Ma jfissirx li għax wiehed jrid l-indafa jbati minn OCD.
