TOBY WAS MADE FOR A HOME 🏡

My name is Toby.

I came into animal welfare as a puppy and have recently come to the MSPCA hoping to find my place. I haven’t had any applications yet.

My ears were cut when I was very young, which can make me look fierce , but I’m not. I love meeting people, I’m great on the lead, and I enjoy my walks and the carers who look after me every day.

I’m a gentle, steady dog who was made for a family, I just never had one.

Thank you for taking a moment to think of dogs still waiting. Wishing you all a peaceful public holiday, and please think of those who need a home.

🤔 Some people seem to have a short memory and think that ENGOs have woken up now. But we have always been there. At one point Labour politicians even used to support us! Take this beautiful photo from Aleander Balzan's 2008 book from Sensiela Kotba Socjalisti. The photo shows Astrid Vella from FAA, Lino Bugeja from Ramblers and environmental hero Pawlu Buttigieg from SOS Hondoq leading a protest against Rationalisation.

😳 The caption from Aleander Balzan reads: "Protesti minn kull qasam tas-Socjeta' Civili kontra l-ghoti tal-permessi ghall-bini f'ODZ mill-Gvern ta' Gonzi". Aleander Balzan was a journalist with One News at the time.

🤫 So we have remained consistent. But why are some Labour politicians who were opposed to Rationalisation now in favour of it through the Government's planning reform???

Hello everyone! I am pleased to announce that classes will be starting again NEXT Monday 10th October 2022. That's right, for 9 weeks we will be exploring the extent of your stamina, flexibility and the depths of your equinimity through a mix of HIIT training, bootcamps, cardio training, body conditioning and freestyle fitness yoga / pilates. Classes will take place between Monday and Thursday, MORNINGS ONLY, at 9AM. Book your twice-a-week place (M&W / T&T) as soon as possible as there are very little left. Get in touch if you need more info and see you in class! :)

Summer Session Fitness Classes starting on the 5th of July - twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9am 😀 Classes are being held at the Dance Academy in Attard (Triq iz-Zaghfran). You can book for 4 weeks or for 8 weeks! The session will end on the 25th of August. Those of you interested can message on Messenger to book your place. 😀 See you in class 😉

Dear all, following the latest measures announced by the government to contain the spread of the corona virus, and for the sake of everyone's health, no classes will take place next week.

Hello all!

I hope you had a well-deserved break for Christmas and are ready to start exercising again to get rid of that extra holiday weight. Classes will resume tomorrow Monday 6th January for a 9-week session. Please be advised that the forthcoming session will be as follows: -

The first part from 6th January to 13th February. This will be followed by a 3-week break from 17th February till 5th March. The second part of the session will run from 9th March till 27th March.

The session duration is 9 weeks and the price is 108 Euro for unlimited classes. For those attending only once a week, the price is 70 Euro and, per class, the price will be 9 Euro.
