Our Story

Established in 1985 by International Educator Angèle Stafrace, Peach & Sorrel Beauty Academy has been educating students to enter a professional career in the Beauty Industry. The Peach & Sorrel Beauty Academy is committed to provide accredited Diplomas with the National Commission for Further and Higher Education of Malta (NCFHE) in all aspects of Beauty Therapy, Massage, Aromatherapy, Fashion & Photographic Makeup, Nail Technology and Nail Artistry. Our Diplomas are also compatible with the European Qualification Framework (EQF).

Our programs cater for the holistic beauty treatments and are provided by highly qualified and experienced tutors. This skill support takes place within a facility equipped to the highest standards in both presentation and hygiene.

The prospective student may feel confident in the knowledge that upon successful completion of their chosen program, they will achieve a certification that is highly regarded professionally, an important factor if you are considering a beauty or nail technology career. Our programs aim to meet the needs of a wide variety of students: • Those wishing to change careers or expand existing skills • Those wishing to start their own business • Those with an interest in offering complementary therapies • School leavers looking for an alternative career • Beauty Therapists wanting to offer more treatments for their clients • Those returning to the beauty work place, perhaps after a maternity break wishing to re-train in a career that can be more flexible to meet the demands of family life • The adult that would like to enter the Beauty or Nail World and offer treatments to help clients and earn an income or extra revenue • Those wishing to work abroad or on cruise ships

All programs at our Beauty School run on a part-time basis; morning, afternoon, evening or weekend allowing the student time for home study. The programs are structured to be professional, yet enjoyable to learn and students are taught in small groups allowing for intensive training with support and guidance always at hand.

The Maltese Authorities are putting more emphasis now on vocational education and the importance of gaining a recognised qualification. When the field of Complementary Therapy is finally regularised it is highly likely that there will be a requirement to show evidence of continued learning. In fact, Beauty Association membership and insurance bodies are requesting this already. There is no reason to wait until this becomes compulsory. The time to get into the continuous learning habit is NOW.
