I was interested to learn how the human body works from when I was very young. As I grew older my passion for movement developed into an interest in biology and human anatomy. I began to discover the world of massage via books I came across at home and in public libraries. Late eighties and early nineties... we didn’t have internet yet!

I love my work as a massage therapist. I received my Diploma certificate in body massage from the International School of Beauty Therapy in Santa Venera, where I studied Swedish Body Massage, a technique inspired by a combination of Chinese and European massage systems. Developed in the 20th century, Swedish massage techniques are constantly being refined and perfected to suit the needs of today’s varied lifestyles.

At first I worked at Corinthia Hotel and Spa in Attard and later began doing massage in a room I rented at a gym in Naxxar. I carried on attending courses in massage and alternative medicine. I studied lymphatic cleansing, and reading chakras at Biocare Academy, Mosta taught by Christine Courtney from OBUS School and Wellness Centre, Ireland. And, later attended a course in Etna Stone Facial Massage© taught by Ernesto Musumeci, a Sicilian.

In April 2018, Denise Marston, owner and director at DEA Aesthetics and Wellnes, offered me the space I’d been looking for, to expand my massage services in Malta. I’m always learning new things and meeting new people, and most importantly my service as a professional massage therapist helps my clients enjoy a toned and healthy body, and relaxed mind for longer. Denise and my colleagues at DEA, offer facials, slimming treatments, botox fillers, and hairdresser services, eyebrow tattooing and threading.
