You do not need to be flexible to begin.
So many people think yoga is only for the flexible, the strong, or the already confident. But that is not where yoga begins.
Yoga begins in the moment you decide to pause.
It begins when you notice your shoulders are carrying too much... your mind is too full... your body is tired, tight, or disconnected. It begins when you simply want to feel better.
To me, yoga is not about perfection. It is not about forcing your body into shapes. It is about creating space. Space to breathe more deeply. Space to move more mindfully. Space to return to yourself.
You do not need experience. You do not need to be “good” at it. You only need the willingness to begin, exactly as you are.
With time, yoga can help you soften tension, quiet mental noise, and feel more grounded in your own body. Sometimes the change is gentle. Sometimes it is profound. But it often starts in the simplest way: one breath, one stretch, one moment of stillness.
Take the time. Breathe. Begin. TRY.
