Society of Medical Radiographers Malta SRM is the principal non-profit organization in Malta representing all local medical radiographers.

The SRM has always worked hard to pursue its mission statement: to promote and advance the radiography and radiotherapy profession in Malta through continuous education, specialisation and networking. The SRM has always held the best interests of local radiographers at heart and over the years the SRM has participated in national and international discussions and debates to ensure that the radiography profession is safeguarded and to encourage further development within the profession itself.

The Society of Medical Radiographers Malta attended last Wednesday’s meeting organised by Malta Federation of Professional Associations with Opposition Leader Dr Alex Borg, and MPs David Agius and Ivan Castillo.

The importance of involving professionals in policy-making, the urgent need to review regulatory bodies, and the vital role of professional organisations in shaping policy was discussed.

SRM would like to sincerely thank everyone who attended this year’s conference, The Emerging Role of the Radiographer. It was a truly enriching event, filled with knowledge sharing, meaningful discussions, and valuable networking.

A special note of gratitude goes to all our speakers who generously shared their expertise with us. We are especially grateful to EFRS - European Federation of Radiographer Societies President, Dr. Patrizia Cornacchione, and Prof. Louise Rainford for joining us and greatly enhancing the conference with their insights and presence.
