This page aims to raise awareness about the writing workshop activities that I hold. Through my work as a therapist and my personal experience, I have come to find great value in creative writing as therapy and so wanted to create a space where like-minded people, who also find writing to be a source of comfort and joy, can come and wri

te together. Through using a variety of writing prompts for adults, participants explore their inner worlds and exercise their creativity in these Malta workshops.

Hi everyone 🌿

It’s been a little quiet here lately, and I wanted to pop in with a quick hello. The past few months have been a full season of family life, colds, and general juggling — so I’ve taken a bit of a pause from running workshops and posting regularly.

Sometimes life calls for a slower pace, and I’m learning to make space for that too.

I’ll be spending the rest of the year regrouping and planning for some fresh workshops in the new year — I’m really looking forward to reconnecting and creating together again soon.

Thanks for your patience and for sticking around đź’›

During our first session in the Writing in Kindness workshops, we will be looking at which specific areas cause us to be harshest with ourselves. Is it or appearance? Our career? Parenting? Social behaviour?

It can often be the case that people use a harsh tone with themselves more generally but I find it is often the case that specific areas elicit our inner critic the most. Identifying these and being curious about why this might be the case can be a first step to cultivating a more self-compassionate approach.

If this is something that you'd be interested in, you're still in time to book your spot. We'll be using a variety of therapeutic writing activities on the journey and these will all be techniques you can take with you into your own journalling practice.

Next workshop series coming up in September. I've noticed during recent workshops that, time and again, self-compassion has been coming up as a theme which we are all struggling with. And so I decided to dedicate 3 workshops to this theme. So if you feel that your inner voice is too harsh and that you could benefit from growing your self-compassion, this series is for you.

Self-compassion isn’t weakness—it’s recognizing your inherent worth and supporting yourself with kindness, especially, when you struggle.

đź“– Join our 3-part therapeutic writing series to explore:

🔥 Your current relationship with self-compassion
We’ll gently examine how you speak to yourself—and why.

🕊️ Looking at your past with kindness
Through guided writing, you’ll reframe old wounds with empathy and understanding.

🌱 Bringing self-compassion into daily life
We’ll develop practical prompts and mini-rituals that support ongoing self-kindness.

Across the series, you’ll experience proven writing exercises—like journaling, expressive writing, and self‑compassion letters—to build emotional resilience, reduce self-criticism, and cultivate a gentler inner voice.

Why writing?
Because expressive journaling helps process emotions, shift negative self-talk, and anchor compassion in our daily lives .
