Yesterday was a huge success as we celebrated Pink October with our wonderful residents and staff! 🎀

​The day was filled with community spirit, a very informative Hospice talk, and a tasty muffin treat for everyone.

​We're so proud of the generosity shown by our staff, residents, and their relatives, who collectively contributed incredible donations for Hospice.

This role is essential in managing employee compensation and ensuring full compliance with payroll-related laws and internal policies. You’ll play a key role in supporting our HR department and maintaining accurate employee records while ensuring smooth and timely payroll processing.
Key Responsibilities:
• Process employee wages, bonuses, and benefits
• Deduct taxes, Social Security, and ensure legal compliance
• Track time and attendance for accurate compensation
• Verify timings and invoicing for subcontracted workers
• Maintain up-to-date employee records and documentation
• Answer employee queries about pay, benefits, and policies
• Generate payroll reports and assist with regulatory filings (Jobsplus, Identità)
Requirements:
• Experience in payroll processing and HR administrative tasks
• Payroll course or related qualification (Diploma in Accounting/Finance is an asset)
• Strong knowledge of employment and payroll legislation
• Excellent accuracy, math skills, and time management

Join CE Group and become a vital part of our dedicated elderly care team. We’re looking for a compassionate and organized Senior Care Worker to support the Nurse Manager and lead our team of carers in delivering exceptional care to our residents.
This role is ideal for someone with experience in caregiving who is ready to take on leadership responsibilities while ensuring that high standards of care and professionalism are maintained across the home.
Key Responsibilities Include:
🗂️ Leadership & Supervision
• Allocate daily carer assignments and balance staff based on experience and workload
• Supervise carers’ performance and ensure all duties and documentation are completed properly
• Monitor proper use and cleaning of equipment
• Address non-compliance and maintain team discipline
🧑‍⚕️ Orientation & Staff Support
• Mentor and guide new carers
• Provide feedback to Nurse and HR Managers
• Fill out orientation documentation and follow up with new staff
📋 Care Management & Resident Wellbeing
• Ensure residents’ needs are reviewed and met regularly
• Monitor mobilization according to Allied Health Professionals’ instructions
• Liaise with residents, nurses, and management regarding any concerns or irregularities
🍽️ Mealtimes & Nutrition Oversight
• Manage dining areas during meals
• Ensure residents receive meals suited to their dietary needs (e.g., minced, soft, gluten-free)
• Check food temperature and presentation
• Record feedback and report issues to management
🧤 Supplies & Inventory
• Order and distribute incontinence products, gloves, and personal care supplies
• Liaise with housekeeping regarding linen and towel counts
📞 Family Liaison & Administration
• Communicate with relatives regarding personal items and resident needs
• Assist with room moves, admissions, and discharges
• Provide staff appraisals and report daily to the Nurse Manager
Requirements:
✔️ Previous experience in a senior care or supervisory role
✔️ Strong organizational and leadership skills
✔️ Compassionate and respectful attitude toward elderly residents
✔️ Ability to manage tasks independently and follow procedures
✔️ Good communication skills in English and preferably Maltese

CE Group is seeking a dependable and hands-on General Maintenance Worker to join our team at one of our elderly care homes. In this role, you’ll be responsible for keeping the premises safe, functional, and in top condition for the comfort of our residents and staff.
We're looking for someone proactive and resourceful with a good mix of technical skills and a caring attitude toward the elderly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks
• Conduct routine inspections of premises and equipment
• Respond promptly to maintenance and repair requests
• Maintain outdoor spaces like gardens and walkways
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Assist with assembling furniture and moving equipment
• Report any major repairs to management in a timely manner
Requirements:
✔️ Prior experience in general maintenance or a related role
✔️ Good understanding of basic tools and building systems
✔️ Strong problem-solving and communication skills
