Andrews Clinics we are able to provide comprehensive ultrasound services through the facility of modern on-site ultrasound equipment. Medical sonography, or ultrasonography, is safe and painless. It does not use radiation, producing pictures of the inside of the body using sound waves. Our Ultrasound team consists of Dr Andre' Gatt, a Consultant General Radiologist with a special interest in paediatric imaging, but also offering abdominal, thyroid, breast, musculoskeletal, prostate and genitourinary as well as Doppler studies. Dr Gatt is complemented by Lara Sammut and Gianella Bonnici, two qualified ultrasonographers who carry out antenatal and gynaecological ultrasounds. Dr Elton Pllaha, Cardiologist, carries out echocardiography (cardiac echo). Unless you are already familiar with the examination you require, consider obtaining a referral from your medical practitioner beforehand to ensure you book the right investigation for your case.

Triq Sant Andrija diversions - UPDATE

Dear all,

Kindly find here the latest information received from Infrastructure Malta

Following this week’s diversion at Triq Sant’Andrija, you are being notified that access to Pembroke through Park&Ride shall be restored later today.

Northbound traffic shall be diverted onto the new asphalted lanes (green route), while road build-up works shall commence in the area marked in orange.

Entrance to Swieqi (blue area) shall be from Triq l Ibragg not Triq il Qasam. At the final stage of this setup, exit from Triq il Qasam (pink area) shall also be closed (1-2 days).

Please take note of traffic diversions in view of road words in St Andrews main road. Today the best approach is driving towards Bahar ic-Caghaq, as entry is allowed into Triq il-Qasam (as per blue arrow in the bottom picture). If approaching from San Gwann you will be diverted two corners away from the clinic.
