Professional Massage Therapy and Courses on Gozo Island Welcome! My name is Magdalena Jokiel. I ‘ve never before felt that relaxed in my entire life.
I am a qualified massage therapist and instructor.I graduated from physiotherapy at the Academy of Physical Education with specialisation of massage and fitness . In 2005 I found a practitioner of lomi lomi nui – a Hawaiian form of massage- and after the massgae session I felt I had to learn more about this style of massage because of the way it made me feel. As soon as possible I joined a workshop run by Susan Pa'iniu Floyd from Hawaii (2006) , and this is when my journey began. LOMI LOMI NUI is not only a massage, this is a part of a body work called KINO MANA which includes HULA dance, HUNA philosophy, meditation, breathing techniques and many more. This practice completely changed my life and my work with clients. Now I call it ART OF TOUCH. After years of massage practise of all classic techniques like Swedish massage, lymphatic massage, therapeutic holistic massage I finally became a LOMI LOMI NUI Instructor in 2009 . I warmly invite you to all my treatments and workshops!

https://photos.app.goo.gl/Zc1EVGGSdA4X5muUA Lomi massage, often described as the "cat paw" style of massage, mimics the soft, rhythmic, and fluid motions of a cat kneading with its paws. It uses gentle, flowing strokes—like waves or feline movements—to relax the body deeply, promoting harmony and emotional balance.

"I recently experienced my first Hawaiian massage with Maddalena and Corrado, and it was truly unforgettable. From the very beginning, the relaxing atmosphere and their positive energy made me feel completely at ease.
Their technique is simply exceptional—fluid, deep, and enveloping movements that feel almost like a dance on the body, bringing me to a state of total relaxation. This is not just a regular massage; it’s something much deeper, working not only on the body but also on emotions and inner energy.
I walked out feeling lighter and more balanced than ever before. If you’re looking for a massage that goes beyond muscle relaxation and takes you to a deeper level of connection, I highly recommend them. Absolutely amazing!"

Lomi Lomi Nui is a traditional Hawaiian massage that combines long, flowing strokes, gentle stretches, and rhythmic movements to promote relaxation and healing. Rooted in ancient Hawaiian practices, this holistic therapy emphasizes the connection between body, mind, and spirit. Practitioners use their hands, forearms, and even elbows to create a wave-like motion, allowing for deep tissue work while maintaining a soothing experience. Lomi Lomi Nui not only helps release physical tension but also fosters emotional well-being, making it a rejuvenating experience for both the body and soul.

In 2005 I found a practitioner of Lomi Lomi Nui – a Hawaiian form of massage - and after the massage session I felt I had to learn more about this style of massage because of the way it made me feel. I ‘ve never before felt that relaxed in my entire life. As soon as possible I joined a workshop run by Susan Pa'iniu Floyd from Hawaii (2006), also Danuta and Jerzy Adamczyk and this is when my journey began.
After years of massage practice of all classic techniques like Swedish massage, lymphatic massage, therapeutic holistic massage I finally became a LOMI LOMI NUI Instructor in 2009. Since that time my life transforms to a different level of understanding the body and human soul. I learned day by day how to trust more to the intuition, not to the mind. In 2014 have visited my teacher on Big Island. I reconnect strongly with the land of Hawaii and the spirit of the old masters. The knowledge of Hawaiian people always amazed me and I keep on practicing their philosophy called Huna and dancing powerful Hula.
Now I live on the small Island of Gozo with my lovely partner Corrado and beautiful daughter Sheela.
Life is a Dream so I decided to dream My Life ...

I am a Lomi Lomi Nui massage therapist, TaiJi teacher, a regular yoga practitioner, and music composer. I have spent the last 20 years dancing on my piano's black & white keys, deepening the breathing techniques of pranayama and qigong, modeling my body on yoga asanas and perfecting the slow and harmonious movements of my body through the Taiji dance.
When I was introduced to the Lomi Lomi massage for the first time, I immediately realized that it was not a "simple" massage but something more complex and rich. That it is an art form in which dance, music, breathing, harmony between slow and fast movements and also a connection with the forces of nature and of the human being. All of this is interconnected to create "the Lomi Lomi experience".
I was fortunate to study this fantastic discipline with an exceptional teacher. She is endowed with extraordinary sensitivity, knowledge and power. During the last three years, I have had the privilege to collaborate with this teacher in a wonderful project called "Art of Touch". It was created by her to bring mental and physical wellbeing and to increase the awareness of the magical power dwelling in each of us.
The Universe is dancing, at every moment, without respite, breathing in and out, creating and transforming....
The Lomi Lomi massage is here to remind us of this and to reconnect us with this magnificent cosmic dance!
