🎗️ November 17 – Cervical Cancer Elimination Day of Action
Cervical cancer is one of the most preventable cancers—and yet, it still claims lives every day. That’s why the World Health Organization launched a global strategy to eliminate it as a public health problem.
🌍 The Goal? Eliminate cervical cancer worldwide.
This is the first time in history the world has committed to eliminating a cancer.
🎯 The 90–70–90 Targets by 2030:
️90% of girls fully vaccinated against HPV by age 15
70% of women screened with a high-performance test by age 35 and again by 45
️90% of women diagnosed with cervical disease receive treatment
Cervical cancer is a preventable cancer through:
Getting HPV vaccination
Attending for regular screening
