And just like that, this week marked the end of our 6-week mindful living course with this wonderful lot. What an experience to see the growth and change in this month and a half. From trying to grasp the concept of mindfulness to seeing you becoming increasingly more aware of yourselves, your relationships and your surroundings ✨ Thank you for your trust, your vulnerability, your curiosity and your commitment to this process. For the laughs, the tears, the questions and everything in between 🙏

Anxiety doesn’t just live in the mind — it lives and manifests in the body. And while this may be more intuitive for some of us, sometimes we don't really make the association between our physical symptoms and our life struggles

Here are some practical steps to ease each symptom:
1. Chest Tightness
😮‍💨 Practice 4-7-8 Breathing:

Inhale deeply through your nose for a count of 4.
Hold your breath for a count of 7.
Exhale slowly through your mouth for a count of 8.
This calms the nervous system and helps open up the chest

2. Muscle Tension and Pain
🧘🏾‍♂️ Try these simple excercises:
•Child’s Pose: This calming pose gently stretches the back, neck, and shoulders.
•Supine Twist: Lie on your back and twist your knees to one side to release tension in the spine.
•Jaw Relaxation: Place your fingertips on your cheeks near your ears, gently massaging in circular motions to release clenching.

3. Digestive Issues
🍴 Mindful Eating:
•Slow down during meals, chew thoroughly, and practice diaphragmatic breathing to calm the gut

These tools can all help with easing anxiety, but it's still super important to understand the CAUSE behind one's anxiety. Getting to the root of the issue will allow you to live a calmer, more pain free life
