🦉❤️ The KSU October Recap ❤️🦉
October was a busy and exciting month for KSU, filled with meaningful events and student engagement across campus and beyond!
We wrapped up the month with the KSU Farmers Market on the Quad, which showcased a variety of produce from local farmers and artisanal products. We were thrilled with the turnout and truly enjoyed speaking with students, lecturers, and passers-by who stopped to enjoy the market atmosphere.
Earlier in the month, KSU took part in the Għustizzja Għall-Artna Protest in Valletta, where we continued to emphasise our position that Bills 143 and 144 should be retired by government.
We also had the pleasure of hosting 50 international students for the annual KSU Gozo Day! Led by our International and Student Affairs Officer, Martina, and members of the KSU team, the group explored some of the most iconic spots on our sister island.
At the start of October, we wrapped up this year’s KSU Freshers’ Week, where we welcomed a new cohort of students to the University of Malta and kicked off another exciting academic year 🎓
To close off the month, on the 29th of October, we hosted the much-anticipated Abortion Debate, where two student debaters engaged in a thought-provoking and respectful discussion. The debate was also live-streamed and was extremely well received by students and external viewers alike.
We can’t wait for another month full of KSU activities, initiatives, and student engagement! 🫶🫶
