✨ Exciting news! ✨

We’ve officially kicked off Phase 1 of our Erasmus+ Project 🎉 – the preparatory stage leading up to our upcoming job shadowing at Trinity St. James’s Cancer Institute in Dublin.

This opportunity will focus on staff working within the chemotherapy pathway and oncology research, giving us the chance to share experiences, exchange knowledge, and explore ways to strengthen quality improvements in healthcare. 💙

We look forward to this journey of collaboration and learning!

Bil-ħila u d-dedikazzjoni tal-professjonisti tagħna fil-qasam tal-kura tal-kanċer, ġejna rikonoxxuti mis-Servizz Pubbliku Malti, kif ukoll mill-Kummissjoni Ewropea u l-Organizzazzjoni Dinjija tas-Saħħa (WHO) għall-avvanzi sinifikanti li saru f'dan il-qasam.

Dan kollu seta’ jsir biss grazzi għall-impenn, il-professjonalità u d-dedikazzjoni tal-kollegi kollha fid-Direttorat Cancer Care Pathways, Ċentru ta' l-Onkoloġija Sir Anthony Mamo, Sptar Mater Dei u l-Ministeru tas-Saħħa. Aħna mhux biss naħdmu flimkien bħala tim wieħed, iżda wkoll nikkollaboraw b’mod effettiv ma’ diversi entitajiet oħra f’pajjiżna – kollha elementi essenzjali għal servizz komprensiv u ta’ kwalità għolja.

All of this was only possible thanks to the commitment, professionalism, and dedication of all colleagues within the Cancer Care Pathways Directorate, Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre, Mater Dei Hospital, and the Ministry for Health. We not only work together as one team, but also collaborate effectively with various other entities in our country – all essential elements for a comprehensive and high-quality service.

On the occassion of World Lymphoedema Day, the 6th of March, the Physiotherapy Department at Sir Anthony Mamo Oncology Centre will be launching visual and written publications for patients who underwent head and neck cancer treatment.
