Do you keep drinking liters of water and still feel dry as a bone?"
If your skin is always thirsty, your joints feel "creaky," or your mind is feeling "frazzled"—especially here in Malta—I have some news. Chugging more fluids might not be the answer.
In most cases, the real problem isn't a lack of water; it’s a lack of healthy, grounding fats.
In Ayurveda, we look at the body's 'Rasa' (sap/life juice). When Rasa is low, it’s not just a physical feeling of thirst. This is degeneration in progress. You are drying out from within.
Look at that massive waterfall behind me. Water flows when there’s a proper path and proper hydration. But without grounding fats, that water simply cannot be held or absorbed by your body's tissues. You are literally just filtering it through.
Without enough healthy fats (like Ghee, Avocado, Coconut Oil, and nuts):
1️⃣ Your joints lose their lubrication (Vata imbalance).
2️⃣ Your brain tissue can't repair itself (memory & anxiety issues).
3️⃣ Your skin barrier cannot lock in moisture.
So, what’s the fix? Start focusing on "inside-out" lubrication.
✨ Include 1 tsp of Ghee with your meals.
✨ Opt for healthy, whole-food fats in every meal.
✨ Protect your skin from the Maltese wind & AC.
Your body is a masterpiece that needs understanding. Healing isn’t a quick fix—it’s finding the deep alignment your system is begging for.
