Parkinson's Disease is a movement disorder. Exercise and movement are an essential aspect of therapy.

Movement is hope in action.

With Parkinson’s, exercise isn’t just activity, it’s therapy.

It can improve mobility, boost mood, and help you feel more in control.

Earlier this month we had a great meeting with Malta Association for Neurologists and Neurosurgeons .

We discussed the possibility of them supporting us by appointing a medical adviser as outlined in our statute. It was a positive and constructive meeting, full of ideas and we are excited about the potential to work more closely together. 🌟

Looking forward to what’s ahead!

International Epilepsy Day: Raising Awareness and Breaking Stigma

Today, the Malta Association for Neurology and Neurosurgeons joins the global community in recognizing International Epilepsy Day. This day serves as a crucial opportunity to raise awareness about epilepsy, its impact, and the importance of support for those affected.

Epilepsy is more than just a medical condition; it is a part of the lives of millions worldwide. Unfortunately, stigma and misconceptions still exist, leading to misunderstandings and isolation for many individuals with epilepsy.

We stand together to promote understanding, compassion, and acceptance. Let’s work to break down the barriers of stigma and foster a supportive environment for everyone.

How You Can Help:
- Educate yourself and others about epilepsy.
- Support individuals living with epilepsy by being understanding and compassionate.

Together, we can make a difference. Let’s spread awareness and show that epilepsy does not define a person. Join us in breaking the stigma this International Epilepsy Day!
