The aim of this page is to offer parents and parents-to-be support and information starting from the day of conception following through pregnancy, labour, childbirth and childrearing. As an association we aim to offer such support and information through our various courses, talks and events organised by midwives. Services offered by the MMA:

Baby Massage Course 👶🏼

Interested in learning about baby massage? This is the course for you!

4 hands-on sessions, conducted by Ms. Denise Holmes, an infant massage instructor/midwife, designed for newborns, up to 1 year of age.

All you need is a changing mat and towel, whilst notes and oils will be provided for.

10% off a Pilates session is offered for free when applying! (T&Cs apply)

An English-speaking Childbirth educational course consisting of 5 sessions, prepared and delivered by two midwives, ideal for couples expecting their first baby to learn more about Health in Pregnancy, Childbirth, Infant Feeding and Postnatal Care.

SUNDAY COURSE starting 11th January

Dates: 11, 18, 25 January and 01, 15 February 2026
Time: 10:00AM - 11:30AM
Location: Office 1, 62, Triq Il-Kunċizzjoni, Msida
Price for the total of five sessions: €75 per couple
Booking fee: 80 cents

WEEKDAY COURSE starting 22nd January

Dates: 22, 29 January, 05, 12 and 19 February 2026

Are you pregnant, or just had a baby? These PILATES classes are designed for YOU!

These low-impact exercise classes are conducted by Ms. Carolyn Sultana, a professional physiotherapist, specialising in women’s health.

Classes take place at the Malta Midwives Association Premises (62, Triq il-Kuncizzjoni, Msida)

Wednesdays at 05:00PM, 06:00PM and 07:00PM
Price: €8.00c per class (plus 80c booking fee)

Can be booked up to 1 hour prior start of class. Class can be rescheduled 24 hours before session starts.
