🇲🇹 MMSA Malta is deeply proud of Krysta Cutajar who has been elected to serve as the IFMSA Director of the Standing Committee on Public Health (SCOPH).

From serving as MMSA SCOPH Officer '23-'24, to being MMSA Vice President of External Affairs and IFMSA SCOPH Regional Assistant for Europe '24-'25, we are excited to see her flourish in her new role.

🌟 ENYA 2025 Comes to an End! 🌟

The inspiring two-day seminar ** Let's Talk Young Let's Talk about Children’s Right to Physical Health** 💪has come to an end!✨

Over the course of the event, 12 incredible young people (aged 13–15) came together to share ideas, engage in discussions, and take part in activities focusing on:

🏃‍♀️ Promoting healthy lifestyles
🏞️ Ensuring access to safe, inclusive leisure spaces
🛠️ Tackling barriers to physical health and wellbeing

The young people also developed a powerful set of **recommendations** to ensure that every child can enjoy their right to physical health.

A big thank you goes to Aġenzija Żgħażagħ for the collaboration, and to MMSA - Malta Medical Students' Association Health Promotion and Disease Prevention Directorate for their contribution to making this event a great success🙌

Thanks goes to the young people for participating and for sharing their inspiring ideas and experiences!

We now strive to make sure that their voices are heard!

Improper disposal of items like syringes, expired medications, and used PPE can contaminate our soil and water, endanger marine life, and pose serious public health risks. 💉
