📣We’re pleased to share that Activity A.5.1.1, part of Component 2 of the EU-funded Twinning Light Project, was successfully completed this week in Malta. The activity involved a joint analysis of Montenegro’s legal framework, providing key feedback to support alignment with the EU acquis on Directive 2001/83/EC.

Thanks to all colleagues and experts for your valuable contributions! We now look forward to the final activity, focused on harmonising medical device legislation with the EU acquis. 👏

The public should attend the health centre of their catchment area. Persons without any identity card will not be attended to.

The MCAZ is pleased to host a four-member delegation from the Malta Medicines Authority (MMA), comprising John Borg, Luana Mifsud Buhagiar, Benjamin Micallef, and Amar Abbas. They have been working with the MCAZ in a collaborative, week-long pharmacovigilance training session under the European Medicines Agency (EMA)-funded grant EMA-GRANT-2024-02-IA: Medicines Regulatory Systems Strengthening. The comprehensive training covered several areas related to pharmacovigilance and regulatory systems strengthening.
