Build Your Identity with Daily Habits 💪

For me, daily exercise is as natural as brushing your teeth. Why? Because as a former professional gymnast from the age of 7, I built the habit of training 3–4 hours every single day.

Today, I’m no longer competing—but I never stopped. I don’t train like before, but I move every day… and I will continue to do so for the rest of my life.

Because this is who I am.

I am an athlete in spirit. And every morning workout sets the tone for an amazing day—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Over time, I’ve built a daily routine that reflects what truly matters to me:

Somewhere along the way, we were told that being an adult means being serious, predictable, and… a little less alive. But what if that’s the biggest lie we’ve ever accepted? 🤔

Stay curious. Climb the tree 🌳. Jump in puddles 💦. Laugh too loud 😄. Take the long way home 🚶‍♂️. Turn ordinary days into tiny adventures 🗺️.

And if you have kids—this matters even more ❤️.

Show them that life isn’t just something to manage… it’s something to play with 🎨. When they see you exploring, imagining, and enjoying the moment, they learn that the world is not a checklist—it’s a playground 🛝.

We’re hitting the road 🚐🌍

On March 30, we’re setting off from Hungary on a 4-day family road trip toward the Netherlands — and it’s not just any trip. I’ve been invited as a guest speaker at the Justice Conference (April 4–6), and we decided to turn the journey into an adventure.

Instead of rushing, we’re taking the scenic route — exploring castles, hiking trails, and some of the most beautiful landscapes along the way. These are our planned stops:

🌅 19 Days of Fasting — 20 Years of Transformation 🌅

This March marks something deeply meaningful for me: my 20th year of observing the 19-Day Bahá’í Fast.

Every year, these days become the highlight of my life — a time of renewal, discipline, clarity, and spiritual connection.

For those unfamiliar, the Bahá’í Fast takes place from March 2–20, ending at the spring equinox and the Bahá’í New Year (Naw-Rúz). During these 19 days, adult Bahá’ís fast from sunrise to sunset, abstaining from both food and water.

But the fast is far more than just not eating or drinking. It operates on three powerful levels:

🧠 Mental Reset
Fasting creates a remarkable sharpening of focus. Without constant meals and distractions, the mind becomes calmer and clearer. Decision-making improves, creativity rises, and attention becomes more intentional.

💪 Physical Renewal
Dry fasting activates powerful physiological processes. The body shifts into repair mode, improving metabolic efficiency and cellular cleanup. When combined with practices like cold plunges, the benefits amplify:
• stronger circulation
• improved stress resilience
• enhanced fat metabolism
• a powerful boost in mood and energy
Cold exposure and fasting together train the body to adapt, regulate, and recover more efficiently.

✨ Spiritual Alignment
The deepest purpose, however, is spiritual. In the Bahá’í teachings, fasting is described as a time for:
• prayer and meditation
• detachment from material habits
• strengthening the will
• drawing closer to God
The number 19 itself has meaning in the Bahá’í calendar — the year consists of 19 months of 19 days, symbolizing unity, order, and balance.
Ending the fast at the spring equinox is profoundly symbolic: just as nature renews itself and light begins to dominate over darkness, the fast represents our own inner renewal.

🌄 My daily rhythm during the Fast I go through the day in the spirit of reflection and mindfulness. Each morning I begin the day with
🧘 meditation and prayers
🤸 yoga / calisthenics
❄️ a cold plunge

🌅 Before breaking the fast at sunset, I again take time for prayer and meditation, creating a moment of gratitude and awareness before nourishing the body.

For me, these 19 days each year are like a deep recalibration of life — body, mind, and soul returning to alignment.

Twenty years in, I can say with certainty:
this practice has been one of the most transformative disciplines of my life.

This evening’s Tibetan Singing Bowl Sound Bath Meditation will gently guide your mind and body into a deeply relaxed state through the powerful vibrations of sacred sound.

Sometimes it includes a short talk, guided contemplation, or the opportunity to ask meaningful questions about meditation, life, and inner growth.
It is a calm and inspiring way to integrate the experience of the sound bath and music, allowing the evening to end in clarity, stillness, and connection.

🤸‍♂️ I haven’t missed a single day of handstands in 38 years.

As a former professional gymnast, I learned my first handstand at the age of 8. My parents still laugh when they tell the story — once I discovered I could walk on my hands, I was doing it everywhere… even to the toilet at home 😂🚽
What started as a playful challenge became a lifelong daily discipline.

Today, I still practice reverse asanas every single day. Why?
