Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming two Bangladeshi students currently studying in Malta. They shared their joy in finally discovering a Buddhist temple here after searching for a long time.
Their deep respect was evident as they chanted and paid homage before the main Buddha image—a truly inspiring sight.
Following a brief and meaningful exchange of experiences, we concluded the visit by practicing meditation together, sharing a moment of peace and spiritual connection.

True Success and Inner Happiness

Wednesday, March 18, 2026
A wonderful atmosphere of friendship filled the air today as Mr. George visited, accompanied by a friend from China. We engaged in a warm and lively conversation, exchanging perspectives on life and Dhamma in a friendly, relaxed setting.
During our talk, my Chinese friend raised an insightful question: "What is the secret to achieving success in life—having a flourishing career, financial stability, and lasting happiness?"
The answer is both simple and profound. While the definition of success and wealth varies for everyone based on their life's context, there is one thing everyone can access instantly: "True Happiness." This journey begins easily through the practice of meditation.
By simply resting the mind, closing our eyes gently, and letting go of all mental burdens and anxieties, we allow the heart to experience a state of complete peace.
When the mind is still and at ease, "Wisdom" naturally arises.
This inner happiness becomes the source of confidence and creative ideas. Even the most complex problems that once seemed unsolvable can be cleared away by the power of wisdom—refined through the simple act of meditation.

Where is Happiness?
In today's fast-paced world, the quest for happiness and a prosperous life is a common pursuit. Recently, I had an engaging conversation with Mr. Manvel, where we delved into the essential question: How can one achieve lasting happiness and continuous personal growth filled with joy? Drawing from timeless wisdom, I shared that true happiness begins within ourselves. It's as simple as gently closing your eyes, cultivating mindfulness, and staying present in the moment.
The key is to let go of all thoughtsrefrain from pondering, imagining, or dwelling on any stories or concerns. By doing just this, a profound sense of happiness naturally emerges.
To build on this foundation, I recommended starting with basic meditation practices, inspired by the teachings of Luang Pu from Wat Paknam. This approach emphasizes inner focus and tranquility as the pathway to inner peace.
If you truly desire happiness that endures every single daysustainable and eternalyou must commit to the practice of meditation. Why? Because:
Meditation is the ultimate source of wisdom, empowering you to resolve various challenges in life.
Meditation is the wellspring of genuine happiness, offering a deep and authentic joy that transcends fleeting pleasures.
By integrating meditation into your daily routine, you unlock the potential for a life that is not only successful but also profoundly fulfilling.

You don't need it where you're going.

That argument from yesterday, that worry about tomorrow, that regret from years ago—it’s all heavy luggage. Take a deep breath and leave it here. Your future self will thank you for traveling light.

What is one thing you are leaving behind today? Let it go in the comments. ❤️

No matter what you are about to do,
big or small,
The first step is to have mindfulness.
When there is mindfulness, wisdom arises.
When wisdom arises, we can solve various problems easily.
