Another positive testimony of the work being done in the community.

We are proud to share that Aġenzija Sapport was recognised for its commitment to the implementation of the workplace prevention programme S.A.F.E. during the Aġenzija Sedqa’s Recognition Ceremony – Breaking the Chains.

This honour highlights the ongoing efforts to create a healthy, supportive environment for employees and reflects the importance of investment in employee well-being by the Agency.

The award was accepted by Kurt Clews and Sephora Cuschieri on behalf of the People Management and Employee Wellbeing team.

RISe Foundation Malta

We’re proud to share that the RISe Foundation Malta has recently been given a token of recognition by Sedqa Malta - a symbol of the strong collaboration that dates back to the very beginning of our journey.

While RISe focuses on behavioural rehabilitation and reintegration, and not directly on addiction or substance abuse, Sedqa’s Awareness Sessions have become a valuable part of our holistic approach. These sessions create a safe space for our residents to reflect on their past in general, build awareness, and strengthen their resilience against life’s many challenges.

Sedqa’s commitment goes beyond our residents - their team also provides essential training to our staff, enhancing our knowledge on substance use and its effects. This shared effort helps us support our community more effectively and with better understanding.

We are truly grateful for this ongoing collaboration and the recognition received. Over the years, our ties with Sedqa have only grown stronger - all in support of those seeking positive change.

We dedicate this recognition to the many residents who have walked through our doors, choosing the courage to change over idleness. Their journeys inspire us every day.

🇬🇧 Yesterday, we celebrated something extraordinary.

At Komunita’ Santa Marija, four of our residents graduated after completing the full 14-month therapeutic program - a journey marked by deep pain, raw truth, and unshakable courage. The theme was "Breaking the Chains", and that’s exactly what they did. Chains of addiction, shame, trauma, and fear - unravelled through relentless commitment and heart.

These moments don’t come often in this work, which makes them sacred.

But we also want to honour others - those who didn’t take the full residential path, yet still chose recovery. Some never entered our doors, some couldn’t stay - but they found their way to sobriety and stability through other routes, through the support of Sedqa and community-based services. That journey, too, takes immense strength.

To our residents and our graduates - thank you for your trust. May your path forward be strong, free, and full of light.

To every person walking the recovery road - inside and outside our walls - we see you.

To our dedicated staff - thank you for holding it all with fierce love and unwavering care.

Yesterday was more than a graduation. It was a celebration of resilience, of lives reclaimed.

We are so proud. And we believe in every one of you. 💛

🇬🇧📢Attention Parents of Year 5 Students!

We are pleased to inform you that the Sedqa Prevention Professionals have successfully delivered the T.F.A.L 5 program in all schools across Malta and Gozo. This initiative is a follow-up to the T.F.A.L 3 program introduced in Year 3.
Students who attend at least 80% of the sessions will be awarded an MQF Level 2 certificate upon completion of the program.

If your child did not meet the attendance requirement, the school has sent a Google Form that you can fill out to register your child for a half-day workshop. This workshop serves both as a revision session and an opportunity to qualify for the certificate.

Nixtiequ ninfurmawkom li l-Professjonisti tal-Prevenzjoni ta’ Sedqa temmew b’suċċess il-programm T.F.A.L 5 fl-iskejjel kollha f’Malta u Għawdex. Dan il-programm huwa t-tkomplija tal-programm T.F.A.L 3 li jsir fis-Sena 3. Studenti li jattendu għal mill-inqas 80% tal-lezzjonijiet jingħataw ċertifikat MQF Level 2 fi tmiem il-programm.
