📢 𝐃𝐄𝐀𝐃𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐄𝐗𝐓𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐃 - Calling All Employers

Aġenzija Sapport, together with PRISMS Malta, the Directorate for Disability Issues, AsIAm (Ireland), and APVA (Portugal), is inviting employers to take part in the Erasmus+ funded project “Creating Employment Opportunities for Autistic Persons (factoring in co-occurring conditions).”

👉 Why your input matters:

- To understand what outcomes employers seek from training on supporting autistic employees.
- To identify what facilitates or challenges employers in creating change in their practices.
- To explore knowledge and skill gaps where training has already taken place.

By completing a short 8–10 minute survey, you will help co-create training and e-learning resources that support inclusive recruitment, integration, and retention of autistic employees. You’ll also be contributing to a network of organisations advocating for a more inclusive labour market.

Six participants from various Aġenzija Sapport services attended an Erasmus+ mobility programme in Estonia hosted by Lumilaane OÜ. 🇪🇪 This visit focused on exploring the Estonian health and social care system, with a particular focus on the role of support workers, guardianship frameworks, trauma informed care, sexuality and innovative care technologies.

The programme highlighted how responsive and flexible systems can empower service users, while also showing how cultural exchange fosters innovation, empathy, and professional growth.

The Hero in Us 🦸‍♂️🦸‍♀️

Sharing Lives members recently explored the vibrant world of fluid art with Karen Tonna and Michelle Pandolfino from Art and paintings by Karen Tonna 🖌

Through a mixture of colours and creative freedom, they created the elements of water, sea, sky, grass, and sunset bringing nature’s beauty to life on canvas.

The session was filled with laughter, curiosity, and a shared sense of discovery, proving that art is not only about the finished piece but also the joy of making it together.
