The residents of St Vincent de Paul enjoyed a special Valentine's Day 🌹 celebration in our theatre, made possible through the efforts of Dr. Lydia Abela, MasterChef participants, and SVP staff🙏.

A gala lunch, featuring live music, dancing, and other entertainment, was provided. This event, the first 1️⃣st of its kind at SVP, was held for the residents, as they truly deserve the best, and it is anticipated that similar events will be held in the future.🫶

St Vincent de Paul is undergoing a significant transformation, evolving from a traditional elderly care facility into a comprehensive geriatric hospital🏥. This expansion aims to effectively address the evolving needs of our burgeoning elderly population.

The recent tendering process for a CT scan machine, coupled with the imminent acquisition of an MRI machine, is anticipated to significantly reduce patient wait times for essential diagnostic imaging. This enhancement will undoubtedly contribute to a substantial improvement⬆️ in the quality of life for our esteemed residents and the broader community.

Furthermore, the forthcoming establishment of an intermediate care facility within the coming months♻️ represents a crucial step in further enhancing the continuum of care services offered by St Vincent de Paul.

I extends my sincere gratitude to all SVP staff whose dedicated efforts contribute to the successful navigation of daily operational challenges🙏

Although the process is still in its early phases, it has demonstrated significant success and efficiency♻️ thus far. With ongoing energy, commitment, and effort, we will continue to prioritize our patients at the heart of all our decisions, aiming to develop this setting with the goal of establishing a fully operational hospital🏥 in the coming years.

And just like that, the magical ⭐️three days of our Christmas Village come to an end. A heartfelt thank you to every single staff member who went above and beyond to make this event a reality. Your dedication and passion shone brightly throughout.

These past days weren’t just about celebration—they were about connection. Every moment brought our community closer to our residents and staff, weaving bonds that will last long after the lights dim.

In simpler terms, this was one extraordinary⚡️ team-building experience, unlike anything we’ve ever seen at SVP. Words can’t fully capture the depth of my gratitude for everyone who made this historic event possible.🙏
