Plastic Surgeon
About my career, I can say that Aesthetic Surgery was a point of arrival, not, as often happens today, a starting point. When I enrolled in the Faculty of Medicine in 1970, I had already decided to be a Plastic Surgeon. I loved the possibilities of this then emerging discipline. The constant commitment also dedicated to the treatment of severe reconstructive problems, burns, bedsores, supported by continuous updating and specialization work, allows me today to face this discipline with due security and to always increase everything possible to, above all, prevent or in any case address possible complications with proper treatments. I took my first steps at the II Polyclinic of Naples. I directed the Morphofunctional Rehabilitation Section in Plastic Surgery of the Pavia Clinical Work Foundation for about ten years. I then devoted myself for 20 years to the treatment of burns at the Great Burns Center of the S. Eugenio Hospital in Rome. In 1998 I started, the first in Italy in the activity of Aesthetic Surgery in the Hospital under the intramoenia regime. I continued until 2013, the date on which I decided to retire. In 2015 I moved my house to Malta. Here I am carrying out the project to increase safe health tourism in the field of cosmetic surgery.
