Dancer, choreographer, teacher of classical ballet, modern / contemporary dance, pilates matwork instructor, Reiki master. After graduating in ballet and modern dance he starts a professional dance study and performing arts at the academy Pierlombardo (Milan), directed by Susanna Beltrami. At the same time he studied with famous international dance teachers such as: Virginie Mécéne, Michael Mao, Paol Taylor, Radu Ciuca ', Iraina Chistyakova, George Postelnicu, Carmen Ragghianti, Claudia Zaccari, Dominique Portal, Steve La Change, Claudia Bosco, Silvio Oddi, Matteo Bittante, Dario Lupinacci, Luigi Guainieri, Nicola Iervasi, Susanna Beltrami, Mavin Khoo etc. Gianluca is one of the founder of the international dance competition Alto Jonio dance and of the Italian International Dance Festival of New York City, where he worked as executive director for the firt four years. In December 2012 and 2013 he went to the Big Apple for organizing the competition and the festival Alto Jonio Dance Italy-New York that sees the winner guested in the Italian edition. For six years he dances for the AMID dance company and then works with local and international choreographers; the most significant performances: dances for queen Elizabeth II and 52 heads of states during the opening ceremony of CHOGM, Malta 2015; guest dancer for YADA dance company, Malta 2014/2015: italian debut of the Newyorker company "AntonioFiniDance" Cosenza, 2013; plays the role of Tybalt in Romeo and Juliet directed by Arturo Cannistrà, Vibo Valentia 2012; dancer for the show "The expedition of the Thousand" produced by the foundation Carime, who sees the extraordinary participation of Attilio Romita, Theater A. Rendano, Cosenza; dances for Luciana Savignano, Varallo 2009, choreography Susanna Beltrami. Among the most important choreographic works: Choreographer for a Maltese cabaret production, Malta 2014; Choreographer for the Maltese Primer Minister in occasion of the national independence day, Malta 2014; Choreographer for the opening of the festival Alto Jonio Dance 2014; choreographer for the students of grade 10 “Talent Unlimited High School of Performing Arts” in Manhattan 2013; assistant choreographer for National Ballet of Kosovo, 2013; choreographer for the Australian artist Ashley Rose Harvey and Antonio Pio Fini a pas de deux during"Alto Jonio Dance Festival”, Villapiana 2011. Rendano "of Cosenza 2010. He works as a teacher and choreographer in many schools throughout Italy and Malta, and takes part as a jury in many competition as a judge. In April 2013 Gianluca graduated in Business Administration at the University of Calabria.
