John Ambulance and Rescue Malta, is a registered non-profit organization that provides First Aid and Rescue Services as well as provides an opportunity for youths to learn first aid, and various life skills, guided by experienced youth leaders. Established on June 6th, 1948, the Youth Section initially began with boys, with the girls joining just a month later. Since then, we have grown into a vibrant and inclusive organisation dedicated to training young people in first aid, rescue, and life-saving skills. This year (2024), we launched our new Rescue program for youth, expanding our training to include comprehensive rescue operations. This addition provides our young members with comprehensive training in rescue operations, enhancing their ability to respond effectively in emergencies. Our mission is to empower youth through education and practical experience, preparing them to become capable and compassionate members of society. We offer a wide range of activities, from first aid training and community service projects to leadership development and team-building exercises. Our programs are designed to be engaging, educational, and fun, ensuring that our members are not only learning valuable skills but also forming lifelong friendships and making a positive impact in their communities. All our programs and activities are volunteer-based, nurturing a spirit of service and commitment in our young members. A tradition of excellence and service that has been nurturing young minds and hearts for over seven decades. Together, we can make a difference! ππ
