This week, the Casa Amalia team planned an exciting themed day for our clients: Italian Day! 🇮🇹

Our clients came to Casa Amalia dressed in Italy-themed colours.💚🤍❤️ They worked on a craft featuring the Italian flag, and listened to Italian music (there were some firm favourites!)

No celebration is complete without some delicious food! Our staff prepared mini pizzas and one of Italy's classic pasta dishes: Rigatoni al Pomodoro. Everyone loved them! 🍕🍝

🐝 Yesterday we had the pleasure of welcoming students from Gozo College Dun Salv Vella Nadur Primary.

The children joined our clients for a lovely bee themed craft, followed by a fun game of bingo. We've known for long that the game is an absolute favourite for our clients, but turns out kids love it just as much! It was a morning well-spent with two very different generations bonding through shared activities and conversations.✨

Now that Mother's Day passed, we've started preparing for the next celebration: Father’s Day!

Our clients have started working on a wreath to decorate our main door. They're creating it entirely from scratch with the support and guidance of our amazing staff. It's always great to see their creativity, teamwork and dedication to finish the project and get it displayed! 👏🏼

Centering our activities around themes, celebration days and holidays helps our clients continue to engage with the world around them and gives them a sense of time and season.
