Dangers of Thumb Sucking:-

Thumb sucking, if prolonged, can lead to dental issues like misalignment of teeth, open bite, or overbite. It may affect the development of the child's jaw and cause speech problems. Additionally, constant thumb-sucking can increase the risk of infections as germs are introduced into the mouth. Encouraging children to stop sucking their thumbs by the age of four is recommended to minimize potential complications.
