In recognition of World Soil Day on 5 December, Bagatelle Mall supported the Ecosystem Restoration Alliance,Indian Ocean (ERA IO) in its forest restoration efforts.

We have donated approximately 1,800 seeds of Bois de Judas and Bois de Carotte, along with 200 native seedlings including Fangame, Bois Queue de Rat, Bois de Rat, Bois de Judas, and Bois de Bœuf to ERA IO, a dedicated non-governmental organisation working to restore and protect our natural ecosystems.

This contribution helps restore and preserve the unique biodiversity of Mauritius while supporting ERA IO’s vital work protecting the island’s unique flora and fauna.

🚌 This Black Friday, a free shuttle service will operate between Rose-Hill and Bagatelle Mall, offering a shared transport option that helps reduce traffic and emissions.

🔌 EV charging stations are available at Bagatelle Mall, Phoenix Mall, Riche Terre Mall, Bo’Valon Mall and So’flo. These facilities support the number of electric vehicle users on our roads.

Ascencia held its Investors Briefing on 7 November 2025, outlining a robust Q1 FY2026 performance and reaffirming the stability of its FY2025 results.

Q1 FY2026 highlights:

Average Trading Density: Rs 12, 592 per sqm (+8.7%)

Revenue: Rs 505m (+5.2%)

Net Operating Income (NOI):Rs 347m (+5.0%)

Net Asset Value per Share (NAVPS):Rs 23.43 (+6.1%)

📢 The company also declared an interim dividend of 46 cents per share on 6 November 2025, representing a total distribution of Rs 225m. This represents a 4.5% increase compared to the previous year’s interim dividend.

Nature of Business

Ascencia Ltd (‘The Group’) is a public company incorporated in Mauritius in 2007 and listed on the Development & Enterprise Market (‘DEM’) of the Stock Exchange of Mauritius (‘SEM’). The Group is guided by good corporate governance practices. Its principal activity is to acquire, invest and hold investments in real estate primarily located in Mauritius. In line with this rationale, Ascencia actively manages its portfolio of properties through regular acquisitions and disposals so as to optimise shareholder returns.

The profits of the Group are subject to a corporate tax of 15%. Dividends paid to the shareholders of the Group are not liable to tax. In addition, disinvestment from the Group’s shares is not liable to land transfer tax, as is the case when disposing of actual properties held. Similarly, investors are not liable to registration duties when dealing with the shares of the Group.
