Dengue : un cas local détecté dans le Sud

Ce samedi 22 mars, un cas local de dengue a été détecté dans le sud de l'île. C’est ce qu’a confirmé le Dr Fazil Khodabocus, directeur par intérim des services de Santé. La patiente a une quarantaine d'années et réside à Plaine-Magnien. Elle a été admise à l’hôpital Jawaharlal Nehru, Rose-Belle. Son état de santé est jugé stable.

Par ailleurs, le pays compte trois cas de Chikungunya.

What is a skin wart?
Warts are caused by certain strains of the human papilloma virus (HPV).

There are lots of different strains of HPV and these cause different types of warts.
How warts spread
HPV is passed on through close skin-to-skin contact. It can also be passed on indirectly by contact with contaminated objects like:

1.towels
2.shoes
3.areas surrounding swimming pools
4.the floors of communal changing areas
You’re more likely to get infected if your skin is wet or damaged.

Warts can also be spread to other parts of your own body. You can spread the virus if you:

1.scratch, knock or bite a wart
2.bite your nails or suck your fingers (if they have warts on them)
3.shave your face or legs
After you become infected, it can take weeks or even months for a wart or verruca to appear.

Beware of swelling that is on your hands or fingers as they may compress the nerves and arteries in the surrounding.
This is a case done today morning .
Lady was having this swelling for 1 year growing slowly but now causing numbness to the ring finger.
Swelling removed completely.it was a fat growth. Arteries and nerves delicately separated.
