Advancing Diabetic Foot Care & Limb Prosthetics – A Joint Initiative by Clinisave, Aspire Clinic & Ossur & Dr Abbas

Today’s collaborative session brought together the expertise of Clinisave, Aspire Clinic, and Össur to provide comprehensive care for patients with diabetic foot complications and limb loss.

Our multidisciplinary team worked hand-in-hand to assess, treat, and support patients through every stage of their journey—from wound management to advanced prosthetic solutions.

🔹 Focus on Limb Prosthetics

The session included:
• Detailed assessment of patients with lower-limb amputations
• Evaluation of stump health and prosthetic alignment
• Education on proper prosthetic fitting, maintenance, and long-term care
• Demonstration of modern Össur prosthetic technologies designed to restore mobility, stability, and independence

Diabetes remains one of the leading causes of lower-limb amputation worldwide. Through combined expertise, our teams aim to:
• Detect complications early
• Prevent amputations wherever possible
• Provide world-class prosthetic solutions when needed

Dr. Abbas attending the 7th Abu Dhabi International Vascular Conference (October 24–25, 2025)
Representing excellence in diabetic foot care, Dr. Abbas participated in this prestigious medical event hosted by Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City in collaboration with the Emirates Vascular Surgery Society. The conference focused on raising awareness of time-critical vascular emergencies, with a strong emphasis on diabetic foot management, early intervention, and innovative treatment approaches.
