Self care doesn't always mean going on a shopping spree or treating yourself with luxury items or going for an expensive spa or a holiday abroad; eventhough such activities may give you a sense of satisfaction momentarily , it is short lived.
Self care starts with the little moments spent in tranquility during a day whereby our body and mind may take a small break from its usual course. We don't need lots of money or travel plans to start the journey of "self-care" because there are many of us who cannot afford it. So we should aim to start with what we can do to implement self care in our daily routine, with the resources we already have.
