🎉 Today we celebrate 130 years of chiropractic care!

On September 18, 1895, Daniel David Palmer (D.D. Palmer) performed the first chiropractic adjustment on Harvey Lillard, a janitor in Davenport, Iowa, who was partially deaf. After the adjustment, Lillard’s hearing reportedly improved — a moment that sparked the birth of the chiropractic profession.

Palmer believed that misaligned vertebrae, or “subluxations,” could disrupt the body’s natural healing. His success led him to open the first chiropractic college in 1897, laying the foundation for a healthcare practice that is licensed, recognised and respected worldwide.

💚 From that pioneering moment to today, chiropractic care has helped millions improve mobility, relieve pain, heal naturally and support overall wellness.
