Un projet mûri avec patience porte toujours de beaux fruits… Rotary Club Haute Rive avec notre cher ami rotarien Philippe Balin et en collaboration avec le Rotary Club Orléans Péguy, France, le projet de rénovation de l’École des Sourds de Goodlands avance pas à pas, avec cœur et conviction.

Dans la logique des projets durables, il n’y a pas lieu de courir et la preuve vivante, c’est que Philippe est de retour parmi nous pour faire un état des lieux, travailler avec l’équipe et partager des moments forts avec nous.

🙏 Merci à tous les rotariens mobilisés, à l’équipe éducative de l’École des Sourds Doorgachurn Hurry, et à Philippe pour sa présence engagée.

Je vous laisse découvrir quelques images de cette belle journée à l’école, ainsi qu’un petit entretien avec Philippe, plein de sens et d’humanité.

With a tailor-made presentation crafted with care, filled with real talk, smart tactics, uplifting advice, and best wishes for our Unite for Good year ahead for RCHR!

AG Frédéric, thank you for showing up for us, with us and among us. Your humility and knowledge-sharing this evening were truly laudable. 🙏 You reminded us that leadership done right is rooted in generosity, empathy, and genuine presence.

Continuity in Harmony at Rotary Club of Haute Rive with the Upcoming Action

The Magic of Rotary joins Unite for Good as in continuity we meet generosity....We gearing up for our next impactful initiative. This past week, chairs specially designed to support persons with disabilities were finally graciously delivered ,thanks to the kind donation of Immediate Past President Philippe Blanchon from Rotary Club Tampon Mahavel from Reunion Island.

A chair may seem simple, yet for a person with limited mobility, it can represent dignity, independence, and inclusion...a gateway to equal opportunity.

This contribution is a testament to the power of Rotary connections across borders, and a reminder that when we support each other, literally and figuratively, we uplift lives in the most meaningful ways.

Let’s keep moving forward, together, in harmony and service. ♿️

Our President Navin did not miss the installation ceremony of the Rotary Club of Moka's President for 2025-2026, Prashant Mahabir, held yesterday at Indra Restaurant, Domaine Les Pailles.

Big kudos to Immediate Past President Joanna, who truly rocked her 2024-2025 term with impactful leadership! And warm congratulations to President Prashant as he takes the helm for the coming year.

Our meeting kicked off with a bit of Rotary history!did you know The Rotary Club of Chicago’s first public service project back in 1907 was the construction of public toilets, or “comfort stations”? 🚽

And it all came full circle when Little Nirvaan urgently needed one! 🤪🤣😂

RCHR ne chôme pas! Le President, son équipe & ces membres, à peine installé, déjà en action! Deux réunions de club lancées, un board meeting bouclé, une assemblée prévue la semaine prochaine…"Les mains déjà dans la pâte", à la mauricienne !😄

Ce jour, nous sommes aux côtés de l’école Doorgachund Hurry à Goodlands, pour les soutenir dans l’organisation de leur journée sportive annuelle.🏅 Les médailles ont été sponsorisées par le Rotary Club Haute Rive, avec joie dans le coeur et l'esprit.

Pour nous, le sport, la jeunesse, et l’éducation sportive font partie intégrante de l’éducation tout court.

C’est tout un ensemble qui mène à la réussite de notre génération future. Ensemble, continuons à semer, soutenir et servir !

PP Deeksha stepped in at halftime with a lively Rotary Test your Knowledge Quiz, while we scored goals…for sweets! 🍬 By full-time, the real trophy? A wine bottle! 🍷🥳 And by extra time, let’s be honest! we were all winners. 🙌🏽

Tuesday nights Club of Haute Rive? It’s never short of laughter, smiles, banter—and of course, purposeful work! 😄💼💙
