Second Cyclone Bulletin - Issued at 10:10 AM, Saturday, 1 February 2025

At 10:00 AM, a tropical depression was located about 540 km northeast of Mauritius (latitude 16.9°S, longitude 61.9°E). It is moving west-southwest at about 20 km/h, getting closer to Mauritius and posing a potential threat.

Weather models show that conditions are favorable for the system to get stronger. If it becomes a moderate tropical storm, it will be named FAIDA

Rough seas becoming very rough beyond the reefs. Avoid going out to sea.
