Assalam u alaikum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh,

🌿 May peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you all.

Today, I want to gently remind myself and all of you about a man whose character was so pure, so sincere, that Allah used him to change the course of history.

His name was Abu Bakr As-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him).

Before becoming the first Caliph of Islam… before standing beside the Prophet ﷺ in the Cave of Thawr… before sacrificing all his wealth for the sake of Allah — he was known simply as the most honest and trustworthy merchant in Makkah.

📍 People would travel from distant lands, just to trade with him.
Not because of his prices, but because of his character.
He never lied. He never cheated.
He honored every deal.
He respected every person.
He lived by the principle:

"O you who believe! Fulfill your contracts."
(Surah Al-Ma'idah, 5:1)

But what makes his story even more beautiful is this…

🕊️ When he first heard about Islam, he didn’t hesitate. Not for a moment.
Why?

Because he knew the man delivering this message — Muhammad ﷺ.
He had seen his honesty in business.
He had witnessed his truthfulness firsthand.
And he said, "If Muhammad says it, then it is the truth."

💭 SubhanAllah — Imagine that level of trust.

Abu Bakr’s heart was already prepared to embrace the truth, because his life had already been a witness to it.

This teaches us something so powerful, my brothers and sisters:

Every action we take is da’wah.
Every business transaction.
Every promise we make.
Every time someone watches how we treat others — it’s a silent message about Islam.

Abu Bakr’s honesty in the marketplace became a bridge that helped people find their way to Allah.
He didn't need long speeches. His character spoke louder than words.

Now ask yourself, and I ask myself:

🤲 Am I that trustworthy at work?
When I make a mistake, do I take ownership?
Do people feel safe and respected around me?

Our akhlaaq (character) is not separate from our imaan (faith).
It is a reflection of it.

Let’s be the kind of people whose daily behavior makes others say:
"If this is how Muslims behave, then Islam must be something beautiful."

✨ May Allah purify our hearts, beautify our character, and make us among those who bring others closer to Him through our actions.

When We Have Money, Every Day is Eid

When we have money, every day is Eid,
Laughter and light in all that we need.
Feasts and colors, joy in the air,
Hearts unburdened, free from care.

But too often, it’s Ramadan’s test,
A time to fast, reflect, and rest.
Hunger and thirst, patience in hand,
A sacred struggle, a divine command.

Between these moments, life unfolds,
In wealth or trial, the story told.
For blessings and trials both have their place,
Guiding the soul with mercy and grace.

If I Could Choose My Place in Time

If I could weave the threads of fate,
I’d return to Madinah’s gate—
To host the Prophet, mercy’s light,
And bathe my soul in his pure sight.

With trembling hands, I’d pour the water,
A simple gift for the Last Messenger.
His words—a balm to hearts astray,
Guiding lost souls back to the way.

Then, when the desert’s silence breaks,
And Karbala’s cruel dawn awakes,
I’d stand with Hussein, steadfast and strong,
In a world gone silent to right and wrong.

Through scorching winds and blood-stained sand,
I’d hold his cause with heart and hand.
A witness to sacrifice so deep,
Where faith was sown, and justice keeps.

Between the mercy and the pain,
My spirit’s tethered to that terrain.
To serve, to stand, to never flee—
Forever bound to their legacy.

"The Second Test – A New Beginning"

Upon the earth their feet now tread,
From Jannah’s light to soil and bread.
A test anew, a world so wide,
With heaven's guidance as their guide.

No angels now to walk beside,
No blissful peace where they could hide.
Just sun and moon, the day and night,
To sow with toil, to earn with might.

A father, prophet, husband, man,
With Hawwāʾ strong, they built a clan.
Each moment passed, a silent prayer—
Would children choose the path that's fair?

Two sons were born, the trial grew,
One heart was pure, the other untrue.
A sacrifice — one soul sincere,
The other filled with rage and fear.

Then blood was spilled, a soul was lost,
The earth wept cold beneath the frost.
Adam grieved, a father torn,
A world of mercy now felt worn.

But still he rose to teach and strive,
To lead his kin, to keep faith alive.
Though Iblīs whispered in the air,
The light of truth burned strong in prayer.

The second test, the path began—
For every soul, for every man.
A lesson carved in time and dust:
In every trial, in God we trust.

O people of the world…
Wake up.
This world… is not the end.
It is only a test.

Allah — the Most High — said:
“Know that the life of this world is but amusement, play, luxury, mutual boasting, and competition in wealth and children…”
Surah Al-Hadid, verse 20.

We chase status.
We compete.
And we forget…
Forget the purpose.
Forget the Creator.

But this life — no matter how sweet — will end.
Because Allah promised:
“Every soul shall taste death…”
Surah Aal Imran, verse 185.

And after death — the true life begins.
Jannah…
Or Jahannam.
Eternal peace…
Or eternal regret.

The choice… is ours.

“The Hereafter is better… and more lasting.”
Surah Al-A‘la, verse 17.

So reflect.
Repent.
Return to Allah.

Live with purpose.
Worship Him alone.
Follow the path of His Prophets.
Hold on to the Qur’an.

Because this world will fade.
And soon…
We will all stand before Him.

“Whoever does righteous deeds… We will surely give them a good life and the best reward for what they used to do.”
Surah An-Nahl, verse 97.

May Allah guide us…
Forgive us…
And admit us into Jannah.
Ameen.
