remember the first time you went to the gym, the advanced classes, thinking you will get the results really fast but quit after a few weeks ?
When something feels too hard or too punishing or it's too advanced too soon, you are going to associate it with negativity and you will avoid it "
when it comes to hiking how many of you beginners followed along a group going for Le Morne and unprepared just to get that instagram picture and you came back saying " never again " ?
Hiking is about ease and consistency rather than anxiety.
1.Start small, slowly but surely you will eventually get where you want to be.
2.Be a scientist - listen and observe your body.
3.Be mindful about your movement ,get the technique first.
4. Be patient...
Some hikers in this video joined us since 9 months. I could have easily given them a helping hand but now they are on their growth journey where each terrain, trail,rivers,waterfall and mountain is a discovery and learning process
