Body Shaming is everywhere. You may not be aware of it but unconsciously you body shame yourselves and others. Body Shaming is not limited to body shape or size but towards hair colour, skin colour, hairiness and general appearance too. Be it women or men both can be victims of body shaming.

Body shaming can lead to low self-esteem, isolation, loneliness, depression, anxiety, eating disorder.

Some effective things that you can do about it are:

Educate those who body shame
Love Yourself
Form healthy relationship

If you know anyone who is impacted by body shaming, be it teen or an adult, encourage them to seek help from the nearest mental health professional.

Doubt - When our brain is at war with itself. Doubt may well be downer but it does have to be your ruiner. When doubt consume you and remain unaddressed, it can lead to fear, anxiety, depression, procrastination and lack of motivation.

Loneliness... is not a diagnosable mental health but can affects people of any age group, background, social or economic status through grief or loss, growing old alone, having limited support, feeling socially awkward, feeling alone in a relationship and going through a breakup.

Many people will, at some point in their lives, find themselves in the role of a counsellor without having a true understanding of the concept of counselling or what the role of the professional counsellor entails.
There is a big difference between a professional counsellor/psychologist and a person who uses some counselling skills as part of their role, for example as a friend or colleague. The next time you leave your house and venture off into a public place, take a minute to look around. If we’re living on the same planet, it won’t be long before you see a child with eyes glued to a screen almost as big as his or her face.

While we have witnessed some incredible technological advancements in the 21st century, parents have realized that handing a child their smartphone or tablet is a convenient solution for boredom or temper tantrums.
