Tree Top Health Pvt Ltd, founded in February 2015 is a Tree Top investment targeted to transform the healthcare landscape of the Maldives. The first private tertiary hospital with 153 census beds is being built with a target to open in the last quarter of 2017 and is aimed to improve the health standard of people living in the Maldives. The hospital will also benefit the tourism industry as there is a demand for good health facilities at holiday destinations. With the vision to providing service excellence, Tree Top Health Pvt Ltd contracted Turkish company Turmaks to design and build Tree Top Hospital. The company has 60 years of experience in construction of infrastructure including hospitals and has been successfully delivering health solutions from Asia to South America. With the capacity and competency of the foreign parties involved in the design, construction and management of the hospital, Tree Top Hospital will compete with the regional market in delivering excellence in healthcare. Tree Top Hospital will provide world class medical services to the community, and will also offer opportunity for several local jobs allowing for economic growth of the country. It is anticipated that with the opening of Tree Top Hospital, the number of locals having to leave abroad to obtain specialised medical care will be significantly minimized, saving considerably on increasing medical costs.

Dr. Saraa Yoosuf, MBBS, MSc. Clinical Ops (Harvard medical school) our Medical officer and Clinical Operations Specialist, proudly represented Tree Top Hospital and the Maldives at the 2nd Annual Conference of the Young Ophthalmologists of India 2025, held at the India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

She presented on Retinopathy of Prematurity in the Maldives across two international platforms and actively participated in key forums including the IYO General Council Meet, SAO SAARC YO session, and the International Power Talk - where she shared valuable insights on inclusion of small countries and some challenges faced by younger doctors.

Tree Top Hospital is the first investment by Tree Top Health Pvt Ltd, a multi-disciplinary specialised tertiary care hospital with a capacity of 210 beds and over 20 specialty centers.

Founded in June 2015 by pioneers of the world renowned Maldives Tourism Industry, we aspire to transform the healthcare industry in the Maldives in terms of service quality and design. At Tree Top Hospital, our patients are regarded as Guests and will indulge in the Maldives hospitality experience while being able to undergo complex medical procedures, reliably in their home environment and in the presence of their families and loved ones.
